At Bump, we are building a suite of fintech products to help millions of creators globally make the right business decisions, unlock access to capital, and prioritize the greatest levers for growth.

Everyday we are working hard to solve the problems of loss of income, lack of credit options and easy-to-use business growth tools by removing financial barriers so that creators can share their genius with the world, uninterrupted.

We are a rapidly growing fintech startup based in Los Angeles, backed by the world’s best investors such as Plug and Play, Morgan Stanley, Sixty8 Capital, Snap, Connetic Ventures, Symphonic Capital and have partnerships with leading companies such as Mastercard, Bell Bank, and Visa.

We're hiring a Marketing Assistant to support our marketing function day to day and help bring Bump's brand to life across channels. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role joining the Marketing Team — perfect for an early-career marketer who's eager to learn, ships quickly, and lives on social media. A core part of your work will be helping execute both effective email campaign strategies and social media strategy that grows both our customer base (50,000+ creators) and our audience toward 100,000+ engaged followers, starting with our flagship Instagram (@bumpglobal, currently ~13K).

You'll get broad exposure to brand, content, social, email, and growth marketing at a mission-driven company at the center of the creator economy — with real ownership of tasks and a clear path to grow.

What You'll Do

Support social media: Schedule and publish posts, draft captions, source and edit short-form video/graphics, monitor comments and DMs, and engage with our community across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X.

Create content: Assist in producing creator-native content — repurposing blog posts into clips, graphics, and carousels, and helping capture content at events.

Coordinate campaigns: Help plan and execute marketing campaigns and product launches; keep the content calendar, assets, and timelines organized.

Research & trends: Track social trends, sounds, competitor activity, and creator-economy news; surface ideas the team can act on.

Reporting: Pull social and campaign metrics into simple dashboards/reports and flag what's working.

Email & lifecycle support: Assist with newsletters and lifecycle sends (drafting, scheduling, list hygiene).

Creator & partner support: Help coordinate creator collaborations, ambassador outreach, and co-marketing with partners.

General marketing ops: Manage assets and files, coordinate with freelancers/vendors, and support the Marketing Team with day-to-day needs.

What You Bring

Experience & skills

0–2 years of marketing experience (internships, freelance, or personal projects count).
Strong instincts for social media, especially short-form video; you understand what performs on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Comfort creating content with tools like Canva and CapCut (or similar); basic photo/video editing a plus.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.

Clear, engaging writing and a good eye for visuals and brand voice.

Proactive, coachable, and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced startup.

Genuine interest in the creator economy, fintech, and helping creators succeed.

Bonus points

Hands-on experience running or growing a social account (your own or a brand's).

Familiarity with social schedulers, analytics tools, email platforms, or basic SEO.

Existing connections in the creator, influencer, or talent space.

Benefits:

Competitive salary and bonus package, health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, unlimited vacation policy, monthly wellness (Spa massage), paid maternity/paternity leave, premium tickets to concerts and sporting events, opportunity to work with a talented and motivated team of professionals in a rapidly growing company with significant room for career growth.
